Overview of Relationships
The Relationships panel shows data about the relationships between the target company and the firm. It can be used to assess the number and strength of relationships, whether they are currently appropriate, etc.
The Relationships panel includes 2 tabs, one showing target company to firm connections and the other showing firm to target company connections.
The Company tab, showing the relationships with the [target] company, includes:
- Number of total contacts at the target company
- Number of contacts with relationships to the firm
NOTE The numbers shown also include Board Members that are not working at the target company. Board members that are employees of the company display their job title with the company. Outside board members, or independent board members, are employees of other companies. They are identified as Board Members of the target company but are also associated with their employer.
The results can be filtered further based on the Company Contacts drop-down choices--All, Alumni, Board Member, Legal Counsel, or Leadership.
The Firm tab shows those in our firm with relationships to the target company. It includes:
- Number of people at our firm with relationships to the target company
- A bubble map of which groups have relationships
TIP When IQ is enabled, the larger the bubble, the stronger the relationships.
The results on the Firm tab can be filtered further using the dropdown filters: All or Partner.
Both tabs display data by default in the Summary View. You can select List View to see the data in tabular form. Clicking on a row opens the Relationship Details for the contact.
